Top 100 Baby Names 2016 – Are your names there?

Baby Centre has released the top 100 baby names for both girls and boys and I’ve been having a nosey. I don’t know why, but I find names fascinating. It’s always an interesting conversation to have, to discover why people chose their children’s names, or even how they got their own name!
Here’s how my little family ranks in the 2016 charts:
Victoria Louise – this is my name and it’s nowhere to be seen!
Benjamin Christopher – Benjamin makes quite an impressive #34 and even Ben ranks at #89. Christopher is not on the chart.
Bella Rose – Our daughter who was born in 2012 still has popular names. Bella ranks at #57 and Rose at #71.
Reuben Samuel – Our son was born in 2015 and both names are on the chart. Reuben makes #41 and Samuel #39.
So the winner in the name game for 2016 is my husband, Benjamin, who has the most popular name for this year out of our family. I think I’m the loser as neither of my names feature in the top 100!
